Handoffs between product and success after day one

Onboarding analytics only help if customer success sees the same early signals product uses to prioritize.

Team meeting in a bright office

Product often owns the funnel chart while success owns the welcome call. When those views diverge, new accounts get conflicting guidance and nobody notices until churn appears in month two.

Share a short early-health score built from activation events: setup complete, core action taken, teammate invited. Success can prioritize outreach without waiting for a custom dashboard request.

Agree on one weekly review where product brings funnel changes and success brings qualitative themes from the first week of accounts. Keep the meeting short and evidence-led.

The goal is not more reports. It is one shared story of how new users either find value or leave before anyone notices.
